The Pulse of the Industry

Last week I was at GDC — I've been to every one since 2011. This was comfortably the emptiest expo floor I've ever seen; more sales tools than actual games. That tells you the crossroads our industry is at.

And yet the only bright spots the whole industry is watching are China and India. China isn't accessible. India very much is. People are looking closely at what we're able to accomplish.

Our job is simply to show them.
