When It Rains It Pours

When it rains it pours — as Pune has reminded us these last three days. That's how the last few months at Super have felt too: everything dragged and delayed, and now, finally, some rain.

I'm writing this after a doctor-mandated rest for my eye. Reading this weekend with my one good eye, I found the Neelkanth story — Shiva swallowing poison to protect others. He survived, but it marked him forever. Founders aren't gods, and this isn't mythology, but the parallel is real: you absorb the stress so others don't have to. You swallow the poison. You keep moving. You carry the weight quietly.

The hardest weight hasn't been the money or the delays. It's been letting people go. Some of these people worked with me for over ten years. After every one of those conversations, I sit with one question longer than any problem I've faced: did I fail them? That is the mirror test I take every morning.

The discipline is persistence in small, unglamorous updates. Adjusting quietly when the first effort falls short. Returning with patience. Picking it up one more time. That's where momentum comes back from.

The only way out is Through. And the only Good way Through is Together. Lets Go!

PS. I'll share the book that gave me the Neelkanth analogy once I've finished it — with both eyes.

coffee, a walk, or a hard problem?

Let's make something

Find me at the SPC office in Bengaluru, usually Wednesdays. Coffee, a walk, hacking user acquisition — all yes.
