The idea
A party game for India: social deception with voice chat, for friends who wanted to hang out inside a game during lockdown.
What happened
Over a million installs in its first 30 days, and 350K daily players within weeks. It went on to 25M players and a Google Play Best of 2023 award.
What I learned
People don't come for the game; they come for each other. Design the hangout, and the game takes care of itself.
